CTC Members old and new, let's keep in touch
Hello all amazing cTc awesomers. I realized due to the closing of the UT2K4 server that there were several individuals that we may not see or hear from again. That was incredibly sad to me considering how much time we all spent playing together. I'm convinced that there will be another game that comes along that will capture our attention yet again and will provide years of fulfillment. Well, I can hope.
If that never happens, then I think we should at least be able to follow each other around, play together and keep in touch. Steam has become my game delivery system of choice and I can always see where people are and what they are playing. I know there is Origin and others, but where are you? What are you playing? Do you want to share your Steam or Origin IDs? Let's build up cTc for a new generation and make a safe and fun gaming environment in the near future. It will only take 4-5 of us to start a home somewhere and as they say, if you touch it, it will grow... or something.

I hope we can make a comprehensive list and come up with an alert system similar to Steam that says hey, we are all playing this game, come join us! I'm sure we will think of something! Can't wait to hear from everyone.

Thanks Knave. Yes, this has been great. Although it is sad to see how many people haven't been active for several years. Where the heck did they go?Knave_Skye wrote:This may help as well:

There are also a lot of people in that Steam group that I'd rather not know much about... people that we had to ban or were just generally dicks.
We've been playing Borderlands 2 a bit lately, and I always see Smurf on there. That's a good way to keep in touch for sure.

Also, these forums won't be going away. The server will, but these forums will stay for a long time.

I have changed the group to invite only and given several cTc admins the ability to administrate the group. Feel free to cull the herd.CTC-JimRimya wrote:There are also a lot of people in that Steam group that I'd rather not know much about... people that we had to ban or were just generally dicks.

That's perfect. I think as long as the forums are around we can have a place to Farthinder and Nattuggla together. I was hoping and assuming that was the case.CTC-JimRimya wrote:Also, these forums won't be going away. The server will, but these forums will stay for a long time.
I decided I'm going to become a multi-billionaire and go around on my jet just gathering up the old gang. Then I'm gonna force everyone to live in a giant warehouse together and play UT2K4 for the rest of our lives... I just decided that. I'm coming after ya'll..

Re: CTC Members old and new, let's keep in touch
Some time ago I installed Borderland 2. Very good game. but I was unable
to remove a Fuse behind an electric fence. I checked out you tube walk through,
I saved the picture behind the fence so I knew how it looks like and where it was, but
could not get it. At this point, after many attempts I had to give up, because
I was stuck and frustrated and I removed it from my computer.
I found an old game I have not played for years. No One Lives Forever,
the Operative. Its old but fun. The music is catching. UT III is not as good as the
old UT 2004. I am glad that there is still enough to play for an hour or so on the
net and that is a good thing. I saved most of the moving pictures in the forum and
I am amazed how it is done. Thanks for keeping the forum, which I read all the time
and it is interesting. Greetings to all of you.

You should re-install Borderlands. That game just is so satisfying the further you go. As far as the electric fence, you simply follow the cable from the fence and it will end at a fuse box. You can shoot it to disable it. If you end up playing again let me know. I'd be happy to jump in and help.
I'll have to look further at No One Lives Forever. It looks like the old mission impossible game.
Keep on keepin on my friend.
