Hey all, what's shakin'?
Am having to reinstall Black Ops again due to a computer crash. I'm using Windoze 7 Ultimate. I've successfully installed my WoW and UT '04 with zero issues. Black Ops seems to be fully installed, but every time I try to play, I get a window prompt: The game is currently unavailable. try again at another time. I've reinstalled the game 3 times. What gives?
New OS...

Re: New OS...
I read the forum (good find trailboss), and from what I gather you should try this Mike...
1 - Open the Steam Library window
2 - Right click Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer (on the left side of the window)
3 - Select Properties
4 - In the Properties window, click the Updates tab and verify the game is being updated (see below image)
5 - Then go to the Local Files tab and click the Verify Integrity of Game Cache... button (see below image)
Hope this helps. Keep us posted

Re: New OS...
Alright, I think we're good. Still, I can't figure out why Black Ops isn't showing an icon on my desk top. I can't find either Steam nor Black Ops anywhere on my pc either. I can only access the game by clicking "computer" and then double-clicking the dvd icon (with the game disc in tray). Its not a big deal. I just thought it was weird. Alright Sal, I'll need your help one more time to get my internal game settings adjusted and then its on bitches!

You can install steam from here if you don't already have it installed:
http://store.steampowered.com/about/
On windows 7, you can type what you're looking for at the bottom of the start menu.
For example: steam, black ops.
Once you've opened one of those, right click the (steam/blackops/etc) icon on the task bar and select 'pin this program to the taskbar'. The icon will stay there until you remove it.
Hope this helps.
