Youtube embed update

Wardad brought to my attention that embedding youtube vids wasn't working properly. As far as I can tell, it should be, but I don't know what's going on.

I've added another way to embed youtube vids. You'll see a button when you post called 'youtube_url'. It's easier than the original one (and works): just paste the URL (the whole address in the address bar, including 'http://www.youtube.com') of the youtube video between the youtube_url tags.

I added an extra "u" in youtube to show what a working # looks like - basically take the text after /watch?v= in the address and seems to work fine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOle1AnPOc4

True dat. I think you can get around the videos that and embed mode off as well using this method.

Yes, this works well too, but sometimes there can be extra stuff beyond the video code that should NOT be included, and to the uninitiated, it may get confusing. Either way works.

Using will not allow for you to expand the video. However [youtube_url][youtube_url] allows you to do that.

Probably because [youtube_url][youtube_url] is newer and has code in it that that is more relevant to the changes that youtube has made.

Ahh, good point. The [youtube_url] method is the better choice.
