I actually reinstalled UT3, and currently am having a blast with Duel other than that the game still sucks major wang.

the sad part is that they improved a pretty nice chunk of the game... many of the weapons feel better, a lot of the levels look great, but can be such a technical jump that even the most current computer hardware can drop into some laggy frames at times.

the movement i think is what killed the game for so many people. your just too damn heavy... double jumping is pretty much worthless now, and dodging doesnt render much help because of the weight.

they did pretty good with some of the minor things in the game, but screwed up what really makes the heart of the game for most people... a good flow.

It's not quite dead yet. I'm actually having alot of fun playing on the Hedsteem UT3 VCTF server over the past few days. There are almost always people on the server. Only bummer is having to download all the content but at least most of it is redirected. They have a ton of custom maps and you can carry the flag in the ground vehicles and the customized weapons arent too goofy either. I find that the band (Hedsteem)'s music actually goes well with the action on custom maps that they have made and incorporated it into.

ive played there Rahuah, i just cant seem to get into the game again. Only thing that started to grab my attention was Duels. Duel is good fun, but one of the most dead game types in UT3. Oh well, guess when i get sicka COD4 and UT2004 i might reinstall it but at this point im highly doubting it.

Yeah, I played there the other day with ya rahuah. It's ok. I actually had a blast playing GoW multiplayer on pc today.

If you're referring to patch 2 it's still crap. Way clunky gameplay, no communication, can't get into most servers with no reason specified, lots of noobs, no double jump, too much cowbell.
