I'm just playing with Dubya actually. Big Wolverines college football fan though. Ohio is awesome too. I have a good friend that played QB (1st string starter all the way!) for the Buckeyes back in the mid 70's. Great guy, but he got hurt and was done. Still cool listening to him talk about the old days and throwing the old pig-skin.

Yeah, this Phelps dude is a machine. Wasn't it Spitz that last owned this sport? I mean Greg Louganis owned in diving for the US, but Phelps is insane. It's awesome that we can all be a part of this in the present day. I'm not sure if this will beat the crazy high I had as a kid when the US hockey team beat the Russians (I watched that shit live!), but it's in the same league for sure. This kind of freak anomaly guy might not come around for another 20 years if ever, so you young guys out there need to at least check this stuff out when you can.

He's right, Phelps is challenging records that have stood for years and if he breaks them, may stand for many, many years.

Keep in mind these are time records he's breaking and total medal (8) record in 1 Olympics. If he gets 8, it will be more medals then anybody ever in the history of the Olympics.
