I installed the game and played CTF, which was nice and I would buy the game.
However I think that so far no game has been produced like UT 2004. The selection of maps is just awesome
and the graphics are just right not distract from the game. UT 2004 is the best investment in games I ever made.

I put a lot of time and effort into moving fast in 2k4. I'm just not interested in playing a game where that skill will be mostly irrelevant.

I am amazed how fast same players can run. Is there anything
else I could do ,except double dodge forward, to run faster?

Worth checking out again if you haven't played in a while. Generally full in the evenings with CTF, ELIM (like TAM), and PUGS. Still has shield jumping, dodging and wall dodge along with slide. Being able to move well is still very important.

Yeah, it's semi active. Most active of all the UT's. CTF draft league in progress right now with 6 teams of 9 players each.

Game still has issues but it's still alpha. They make a few good changes and screw up a few things each update. WIP
