Would you leave a note if you bumped into a parked car?
(resulting in a small scratch or dent. )

It depends on how big the dent or scratch. But since you said 'bump' I'm assuming it's not that bad so I wouldn't leave a note.

Yes I would and I have. (With a vehicle that was scratched and obvious) I have the letter the person sent thanking me and commending honesty at my age - I was 16 at the time and the vehicle just happened to belong to a judge from another county.

Are we talking "bump with no damage" or "bump and a ding or scratch that is obvious"? Clarification would help with an accurate reply. A bump with no physical damage or one that could be easily buffed with some spit and a good pants ass wipe I wouldn't leave a note.

No damage at all, then no note. Although I would get out of the car and have a good inspection. Once I followed an old lady that had completely side-swiped a Cadillac that was parked at the mall next to my car. I wrote down her plate number and called the authorities…she didn't have any business driving around (less than 3 miles per hour) and not noticing that she had completely shredded some dudes bumper on a $40,000 car.

kids cracked my side mirror. Heard an alarm go off, went outside and saw kids around my car. Didnt realize they cracked the shit out of my side mirror.
Been looking around for replacements, looks like I will have to go through dealership........
