This is the newest creation from MB Studios™. Influence by
IntenseBone and
Veniis, this project started from a simple sketch on a napkin during my lunch hour at work. After carving a layout I had something that looked like this...
Yes, it's crap. While I was indeed happy with the way it was going, I knew I needed some help in the department of texturing, static mesh placement, and lighting. I didn't want to settle for anything but the best in the business. These are the results from some
real pros...
As hard as I try, I could never have gotten these result by myself. It's a real joy and honor to work with JimRimya & Salchicha. In my opinion, this map contains some of their
best work. Thank you sooooo much.
I'm really stoked about the end results. I hope the community has fun with this map and shares my enthusiasm. GL&HF!

I got some input tonight. One of the complaints I heard was fps. I've just finished optimizing it and fps is much better. A few of the emitters were resource hogs, so I've optimized a few of those as well. I still have a little more to do though. I'm going to put two new emitters and rework the player starts. Players as is always spawn at the base making it a bit defense heavy. I think a beta2 will be out in a couple days.
A few people have mentioned they'd like a way to get on top of those high pipes. I actually had something like that on an earlier alpha version. If foot runs seem to hard to do, I might put that back in.
Any other input is welcome.

It's so much more more rewarding to work with a team of people. Really, it's always great to work on the maps Bean.
Thanks for the nice compliments from all.
Enjoy and know that steps are being taken to ensure better fps. Bean has already updated it. Nice!

id suggest maybe adding a tunnel similar to ooges that has an entrance in mid water and comes out behind those barrels behind the flag
great map though lots of fun in the pug

Thanks for the compliments, and ideas. I'll look into putting another water tunnel to the flag area. Something else that's been on my mind is dropping the tank. The flag is set back far enough and has those big pipes on either side which provides an asset to the defence.

Removing the Goliath is a good idea.
