Today's MW3 update

An interesting update happened today. For those who haven't seen it:

There's a new playlist category called Community Playlists, which are custom Private Matches made public. Right now it has only one playlist, for Drop Zone. I tried that out for the first time today and it is AWESOME. Lots of tubes though, shame. The tubers could do more with frags and C4 and the like.

There's also new playlists in the Advanced category, including Hardcore Team Tactical (I think that's new, I don't remember it being there before), which has Hardcore HQ Pro, which is the best thing ever IMO; gonna play the hell out of that.

Also, every Hardcore playlist has been changed to Hardcore Ricochet. Must be a counter to TKing trolls or something.

And, I haven't noticed any evidence yet, but I'll bet they discretely tweaked some of the guns too.

Thanks for the info Varia. Sounds like cool stuff other than the hardcore ricochet. The only time I recall hardcore coming up has been when a few of us were pining for team kills.

It looks like the weapon tweaks include nerfing the Akimbo FMG9s and the Type 95. Also I could swear the underbarrel shotgun attachment has been improved.

Type95 still rocks shit with the acog. What was the nerf?

I dunno, I never use it or the FMG9's so I don't care much, that's just what I was told. Never was one for burst fire.
