So sometime in 2005, Salchicha started to reskin Agressive Alleys. Something went wrong and he abandoned it. Well, he recently figured it out the problem and thought to finally release it. So, I'm posting because I just put the finishing touches on it, and here it is:
It's true, I started this in 2005 and it was a real bear to get under control. The original author didn't really use the grid system and it caused a number of issues to crop up. I got a bit frustrated and abandoned it. I was looking through some old maps and saw this one. I showed it to Bean and he urged me to keep working on it. As always, Jim put the finishing touches on it and voila.
It appears that I'm going to have to build this one over from scratch. Sigh, so MANY hours wasted. I think this is the reason I abandoned it so long ago.
I'll give it a shot if there is interest, if not, I'll continue working on new stuff.

Better to try and fail than to never try at all. Looks great btw.
Yeah it looks nice for sure, but it's essentially the same layout of an incredibly overplayed map. When Alleys came up people would also leave, as it usually results in a low-scoring campfest. To each his own I guess, though working on new stuff may be more of a worthwhile endeavor. On another note, may I ask what's wrong with it? It seems to look and play fine in instant action.
Make a (rimmys-59th-rimtastic adventure) map with lots of flying Vhicles Mantas and a huge map filled with snow...And on each side...a starbucks...for the demer of course. And add the Sal Specal...Make awesome...
