We got about 13 inchs just north of Microsoft! ( woodinville )
the news knew nothing of this snow, it was 100 % worng!
This weekend is said to be nasty again for snow
its just above 20 here now with no rain or snow falling.

Wondering because we mite get snowed in as the news is all jacked up.
we will have to leave the house till the snow clears if it gets to bad here.
no one here is able to deal with the snow, even a foot or so more.
we got ice for days, till the next storm this weekned (sunday ? )

Thats one thing I really miss about living in the north... I used to take the company car out to parking lots and rip it up. I got really good and damn it was fun.

Except it wasn't on purpose and had there been another car I would have obliterated him, which I suppose would have been fun too.

No worries, if you would have obliterated someones vehicle it would respawn eventually, right?!? :D

I miss the snow (at times). It's funny how people react in the south when there is even a small threat of snow. PANIC!!! I recall my first weekend in Maryland (moved from Florida) it snowed like 24 inches. My wife was still unpacking boxes just crying and saying how much she hated living in the north. I told her that it would be OK and asked he what she needed from the store and walked the 3 blocks to get groceries. No big deal if you grew up with it.

Ice storm last night - power outage from 4 am to 9 am roughly so wasn't too bad with that.

I remember, like 10 years ago, when I lived in Northern Japan, the snow buried my car while I was on a business trip to Podunk, Aomori... It was so deep just in the few hours that I meeting/eating/drinking with these guys that we almost could leave the restaurant. I had to walk to a hotel and check in.

Now, I thought that was bad, but from the same storm in Sapporo, it snowed for like three days straight and they completely ran out of places to dump the snow... All the rivers were overfilled and there just simply no place to put the snow. You could see mountains of snow 10-20ft on the sides of the road in the news.

Now, that looked bad.
