have any of you tryed the Titan Expansion yet ? i just downloaded it and installed it but havent had a chance to try it. I have heard it is supposed to have dodge jumps in it

Nope I haven't seen it yet & I won't either it's UT3

I've tried it and it's pretty fun. Make sure you get the newest patch too. Check this thread:

No, but it makes me like the game better than before the titan pack and the 2.0 patch. UT2004 is still the best!

I said last night that I would be insanely happy if they simply re-released a version of 2k4 that looked like ut3.

I've been wondering how simple/hard it would be for a competent modder to make a 2k4 mod for UT3. What I mean is to basically make the vehicles more like 2k4 and remove the hoverboard. Then we'd need some decent VCTF maps, and some of the old 2k4 ones have been remade for ut3. And these maps should not have any of the new, stupid vehicles in them (the fury, that rolling ball thingie, the nightshade (wtf is that thing anyway?) etc...)

Changes to vehicles:
Scorpion - Tone down the primary fire and remove the jet boost. Make the steering feel like 2k4.
Hellbender - Bring back the twin beams and don't let the driver fire shock balls. Make the steering like 2k4. Something like this has already been modded here: http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=600777 (scroll down to the 'Hellbender Deluxe')
Raptor - Adjust it so that flying in reverse is faster. Now reverse is quite slow and hard to maneuver.
Manta - I think it's fine, maybe tone down primary fire
Goliath - Fine with no changes?
SPMA - Fine with no changes?

Oh, and also use the dodge-jump mutator. I've played on a server that has this and it's pretty cool.

Any other thoughts?

I think they should Make A UT2k4 and have the stuff for UT3 available for 2k4 And
call it (UT2K4 2) > (2nd Version-Updated)

I never even bothered to buy UT3. And I'm glad I didn't waste my money!
