Wow! That was an amazing video! I guess what I've always heard is actually true that the safest place to be in a lightning storm is in your car cuz it's grounded. That was definitely proof! Thanks for sharing that SMR!

It is grounded, but its not the tires like I was told growing up.
It will hit your car, but you're sitting inside of an unintended faraday cage, so you're safe as long as the voltage isn't too high.
