Why don't you get a shout box for the forum?

I have phpBB for our forums, too, and I love our shout box. It's nice to shout out a "hello" to people when they are on the forum at the same time as you are....Just a suggestion....
I know ours is very popular!!

I didn't know "shout box" existed, but hell yeah, I'd love to say hey to friends when I'm on here. Sort of like an open chat room then? I also tried to install "vent" or what ever that program is called and I couldn't use it. Who knows why, but one reason it probably didn't work for me is because I'm gay when it comes to computer stuff. Just pure gay. Gay all the way, and gay to stay. I also like men. Damn it, I need to distance myself from Papa...he's wearing off on me. Seriously, I'm turning blue and shit.

I edited vent with a mod that doesnt allow gays, sorry mike <3 =]

I figured that a shout box was pretty low importance to getting the site and server running, but maybe I'll look into it... I'm only one person, people!

After things started slowing down on the DAM forums - the shoutbox remained pretty active up until the site account expired.

Yeah Jim, don't stress yourself out over the shout box deal. Active chat or not, this server kicks a full metric ton of humanoid ass! Sure, everyone's saying Gabbo this and Gabbo that, but no one is say the Bible this, and Jerico that. It's just bullshit.

I agree that a "shout out box" would be a super idea. I often see people here on the site and would love to give them a HARDy hello.

Thanks Sal, I'm looking forward to it. I hope you and Jim remembered to include the electro-chair with mechanical fist saddle. I'm tired of strapping myself to a '68 Chevy Impala hood and hooking my nuts up to the battery with jumper cables to get my A-game going. I need this new system in a couple of different ways.
