Carpal Tunnel Clan

So me and a number of other people at my command like to play ultimate frisbee during our mandatory exercise time(3 times a week) but unfortunately not the same people show up everytime and this leaves us without a frisbee or having to borrow one from the gym near by(which fly very well in every direction except the one you intended), and being one of the few who shows up on a regular basis, i decided it was time to look into buying a decent frisbee of my own. Ok this is getting to be too long, to sum it up I found a place that does custom frisbees:



Obviously not that actual frisbee, this is the image I made and their image of a black frisbee, just thought I would share .... Will post a follow up once I actually get it(assuming the quote that comes back isnt something stupid)

Agree would be cool. I know I posted something about this earlier but it went dead and I got occupied with school.

Cool man! Keep us posted. Let me know if you need the logo in a different format. I can give you an EPS, hi-res tiff or hi-res JPEG. The one you have may be a little to low-res.

My knowledge about this stuff is pretty limited...to be honest i took the logo off the webpage here, blew it up, ran a paint brush over it and cleaned up the edges lol. If someone with more knowledge using image editing could make a better one i would certainly appreciate it, it took me a while just to figure out how to get the text to make a circle like that using Gimp, and even that could use some help.


Hmm, about $20 for the custom print....and they only will do it on white disks I dont think im gonna do that, I can get a standard frisbee that looks pretty good for about $8, $25 after shipping and not getting exactly what i want just isnt worth it.

Yah, that's a little pricey... If you do something like it (maybe t-shirts), let me help with the art. That's what I did before becoming a uber-leet programmer: graphic design. I think we could find a better (easier to read) font too.

Yah, the shirt was kinda Gambits thing. Id still be interested and I think a cleaned up version of what ive got would be a cool back image, with maybe something simple like

Has anyone looked at CafePress.com? They make the items on demand, so we can order as few or as many as desired. You make one logo and they put it on shirts, mugs, cups, mouse pads, etc...
