Dude, I don't know about anybody talking shit. Please know they came to CTC on their own volition. We would never try to 'steal' players away. They asked, we like them both, and said sure. That's it. Please don't come here and start shit. CTC still has the utmost respect for HOG and that won't change.

AND THIS is why they are not in HOG anymore. There are many great players that have passed through HOG... That is certain. We are very lucky to have some of the best ones decide to part from such an ill lead clan to join CTC. ETBABY and other angry HOGs listen up... The reason for the loss of such great players rests SOLELY on the leaders of your very own clan. These "leaders" never acted in a manor conducive of quality leadership. If you don't have the stability in your own life to not exercise such worthless power as to ban people with no reason, to cause fights and drama and kick people when they disagree, you should have never started a game server and clan in the first place. The bottom line is this. UT2K4 is a GAME... Games are meant to be fun, a distraction from everyday life. Games should relieve you of stress you may have built up so you don't have to kick your dog or abuse your wife and children... This is obviously something the leaders of HOG did NOT understand. CTC is a place to have fun. It is a place to enjoy each other. It is a place to make real friends. It is a place where you do not have to have a constant worry that the minute you say something that another disagrees with, that you will have yourself banned. Those that left HOG to actually enjoy themselves will never look back. They are not ashamed. They are proud. They are part of a band of brothers that will actually stand by their side. If they ever decide to leave CTC, we will wish them well in future endeavors, knowing that they may have found something or somewhere that is more desirable for them. ETBABY... Thanks for posting, on CTC's forums, the very example as to why the HOG VCTF server is DEAD. I know you are hurt by losing some very great players. Let this be a lesson to you in the future.

So sad to see a post like that. I used to be all serious like that until I realized this is just a freaking game and meant to be fun. The funny thing is ET has jumped shipped on clans in his past without warning so he needs to take a step back. Lets hold this small community together and that can only happen if we try and play nice together.

I am happy you read my reply. I don't think it is necessary to ban people for different opinions. You are welcome to play on the CTC server any time.

Your know, UT was torn apart by two things

1. AntiTCC was developed by wormbo and abandoned about 2 yrs ago.

2. People like ET that want to talk shit like a immature street gang. These people ruined the VCTF.com league and BEL.

Nope, I'm good. ET you're welcome here anytime. I've had a lot of good fights with and against you. I think Jim and I felt that the community was getting subjected to a monopoly. Hog is a fun server and it was the place to play with like-minded folks. But it just changed over time and lost that feeling of community. That is a huge aspect of why I even play this game. I've seen the maps a least a 1000 times apiece. That part is not new and yet I come back day after day to play this game. It's because of the community.

I feel badly that this thread is even here. I don't badmouth your clan and when Jim or I are on we ask all the players to respect other clans as well. That was a high priority for us. I hope you understand that.

Hope to see you somewhere in the future. Also, very nice response there, Papa. Very well written and worded.

Well said Sal. I get my ass kicked on the CTC server every night. And I always come back for more because of the kick ass community. Save da drama fo yo mama.

Hi everyone (sal/jim whats up?)

Ok, I have got to say this, but Onyx and Itisi, it was low that you didnt let {HOG} know you were leaving (we're ok if you leave if you tell us) but we're not mad you joined CTC. CTC and HOG have always been the "best" clans out there and always will. Hell, IF (key word: IF) i had left {HOG} and still played UT regularly, I probably would of done the same thing.

Smurf, please don't assume everying is based "SOLELY" on the admins/leaders of our clan. While {HOG} is considering moving on and reformatting RunLikeHell into a differenty gametype, {HOG} is NOT DEAD. {HOG} is just reformatting to fit the current changes in pc games. We're not hurt that we lost such great players, as we are hurt that they didn't let us know and we found out through the grapevine so to speak. Onyx and itisi, we have nothing against you and we hope that you will continue to be friends with {HOG} members (yes-even ET. erm. )

Darth, you have a valid point. The only way we can make this better (for a lack of a better word) is if we ALL (KEY WORD: ALL) try to get past this indiscretion and learn to forgive/forget. Not everybody agree's with everybodys actions, but hey, life and PC life isn't perfect.

I'm sorry to say that this has gotten out of hand, but if you're willing to get past this, so is {HOG}.

Thanks for your level headed response to this. I appreciate all that you said in your post. Of course we are willing to get past this. HOG and CTC have always had a great relationship, and I hope it stays that way, even if HOG is playing more COD4 these days. There was a reason that Sal and I EACH donated about $100 to the HOG cause over the past 12-18 months... We had great times there and have great respect for HOG.
