New Antitcc

The new antitcc is killing your server performance. It is causing lag, chop, teleporting players and a LOT of unregistered shots. You know when you shock a Manta that is not moving twice and neither shot registers that the server performance is suffering.
There are way too many mid-game checks. Every other death I lag out for five seconds or more, which is great when trying to defend a base or chase a flag carrier, and it is, as always, kicking people for things other than cheats. I got kicked the other day for hitting my page up key, (I use it as a Ventrilo key bind) which I believe is a hot key in UT to change the max amount of FPS you can have.
I don't know if just lowering the amount of mid game checks will help, or if the whole thing needs to be reconfigured, but something needs to be done. I'm pretty sure, as I've heard nothing to contradict this, that the new antitcc hasn't caught any cheaters, so could it be toned down a bit so that we can actually start playing games without the lag and teleporting players again?
