I still get bugged sometimes to make a prototype. Maybe with one of those arduino boards.

Dude that is awesome! They really are pretty fun. I have had a great time building projects. It just offers a really cool world of possibilities. Of course, you could always do it with a more expensive micro controller, but that is what makes the Arduino fun. You can just buy another if you decide to keep it in a project..
