Good one, Ghost! Did they really use the word 'unobtanium' in the movie? I guess I gotta see it... maybe this weekend.

Ya, they really used "unobtainium". I tried to tell people about Beowulf in IMAX 3D as being the most impressive visuals I've ever seen in theaters and everyone laughed. At least now with Avatar people are noticing what the combination of technology and film are able to accomplish.

I really enjoyed Beowulf...and I think I liked the story line a little better than Avatar.

I know I've seen it at least 3 times before. (Fern Gully, Dances with Wolves, Pocahontas)

At a minimum, if you did nothing else this summer, you can look back and say, that was the summer I saw avatar, again. :)

I loved that movie. But everyone in my school though it was dumb and for nerds, until they saw the movie.

Too bad it didn't have a story. I really tried to get into but all it was was eye candy (IMO) ... couldn't get into the whole tree-hugger, alien killing thing. But it had nice graphics. I'm sure had I done the IMAX thingy it would have been a little more fun. But it DID have nice graphics. Was there an interesting story? I missed it :( .

Also...it had nice graphics.
