I competed in martial arts tournaments for ~20 yrs or so and I wwould suggest that balance/coordination is no directly correlated to height. And you would also need to be specific about referencing balance... Do short people make better gymnist, yes, hence for international competition almost everyone is extremely diminuitive. But in other sports, in makes very little (no pun intended) difference.
