I'm more interested in the BGM of the matches than of a theme song for the clan. I was on the server earlier tonight and we played ApA-Starrz2 and the music made me cringe.

Is there a way to take mp3s or whatever and convert them to a UT filetype and associate them with certain maps?

Next time your in UT2004 hit f11 for the built in player. You can put MP3s in the /music folder and play whenever.

I never put the game music on- the map music is turned off

no need to reload files into your UT folder you can just change the directory to point to your music folder (unless you want an edited selection)

I never play music either, was just showing it could be done. All sounds off except footsteps etc.

Y'know, it's weird. I've done that in the past and it worked just fine. Last time I opened up the player, I found all the songs that used to be in there were gone, and any time I tried to add one, the game crashed immediately.
And in the time when it did work, I found that you could only put in so many songs before it crashed.
