Every day should be Vday, Christmas, Mothers day, etc. blah blah. We don't go out of our way too much for holidays. I do like the cookies and candies my wife makes during the end of the year though.

my girlfriend works for a high end jewelry company she feels bad when people come in and buy really expensive items hastily. But she also says that if people have the money they will spend it on jewelry or something else. Its a way for people to show love thru the value of materialism. Does not work for everyone. But then again its in our nature to prove to our loved ones by buying something for them. On a side note all she wants is a nice dinner and a backrub. go figure.

I conncur wardad we should celebrate the ones we love more often.

I never really find anything so amazing on Vday... Just something simple to give to others can work.

Then you get to have to buy "Mother's Day Cards" "Father's Day Cards" more Birthday Cards and Hallmark benefits.

More children means more toys sold at Christmas too.

So when you say,,,"Screw the economy" maybe it should be "Screw for the economy"

Maybe you can screw your way out of this depression!

i totally agree , but i call it the jewish conspiracy , becuase hallmark is jewish owned

even have a sweetest day here too ,not sure if every state celebrates that , i know mich and ohio do
