Went to the doctor for a physical for work last Monday and my bp reading was 200 over 140...as we all know...that's not good. Longer story shortened...apparently my bp has been way over the acceptable numbers for several years now...back in 2009 it was around 160 over 120 or something...I was told then to get it under control...but I'm hard-headed Anyway...the reason for this post is this: I guess consistently high bp can affect us with mood swings etc. and feeling of helplessness etc. which would explain a lot of my bouncing around from being a "good guy" to a real douche bag over night. Now that I've been on these bp meds for the past week...I can't believe I didn't just go ahead and start taking them previously. So....apologies for all the shit I brought into the house here a while back.
Being the admin around here I must admit that I noticed some mood swings from you from time to time, but it never seemed to be directed at any one person. Hang in there. If I may suggest, keep up with the meds but also try to adjust your diet and activity level and you can slowly taper off the meds and get better. We live in a medicated world, and IMO the less prescription medicine the better.

I concur
I started eating a lot after a personal loss in the family around 2007 and I think things started then. Would love to get back to messing around with you guys at some point depending on what everyone is up to
Here are some easy ways to reduce high blood pressure.
Reduce Salt. (Read labels). Eat very slowly, because it takes 20 minutes from the gut to reach the brain that it is satisfied. If you eat fast, you are still hungry, even if the little tummy is full, because 20 minutes is a long time
for the signal to reach the brain. Stress management is also very helpful. http://www.webmd.com/balance/guide/blis ... tress-spot
Computer Gaming can also get your blood pressure up, set a time limit for yourself. Anger control is also very help full, if you get angry, take 10 deep breaths. If it is not life threatening its not worth to get upset about it.
Good luck.
I need work on multi-tasking. And my kid's room is next door.
My office is currently situated between my kids bedroom and my bedroom.
It sucks having to filter out so many of the truly horrible things I want to say to you guys.
