Hi I haven't come here in a long time. I'd like to play ut2k4 however I do not have my CD version anymore so I got a pirated version of GoG. I was wondering if CTC block GoG version as it is DRM free and doesn't require a CD Key. It said my IP had been banned from the server so I'm assuming it would be the game since I was never banned on CTC before.
Anyway would it be safe to buy GoG or is it autobanned?

PM me your IP address and I'll see what's going on. I suggest you not buy a pirated version of the software. You can get it on Steam for pretty cheap too and Steam is a great platform:

Ah no you got me wrong gog is not a pirate version it's an official version without DRM. The version I got is a pirated version as I just wanted to play it before buying it.

It's an alternative to steam but it's DRM free once you buy it you can do whatever you want with it back it up etc.

A bit of research showed me that gog version also use CD Keys I think the installer just does it automatically so yeah the pirated version I got probably has the CD key banned.

Thanks for the www.gog.com link. I installed the very old Unreal Gold
game, which I played a long time ago. Surprised that it works well
with window 7. There are many very old games available but unfortunately not enough time. Still want to play UT 2004 which I
am still hooked on, because I have not seen a better game all around.
