I didn't even know there was a DX 2. I beat the original DX like 5 times. It would be interesting to see what this prequel has in store.

I was hopeful till I read an interview with the lead developer where he stated he didn't like Deus Ex 1. Also there is health regen a la COD4. When I read this interview I thought I was being trolled by IGN.

Every time I read IGN I feel like i'm being trolled. That is really bad news unfortunately

Deus EX 1 was the shizz in it's time. Still got it around here somewhere. Played 2 but got caught up in something else about half way through.

Many games have had some influence from Warren Spector. He was behind Thief/Deus Ex/System Shock...to name a few.
