ID - you could download Hamachi - https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/list.asp (Install the free non commercial version) - costs nothing, works fine.

If you need help setting it up - I can assist with details on getting it to work quickly. We've played all kinds of games through this with people all over the world with no problems. (takes 10 minutes tops)
It works with UT2k4.

Host a game like you would on LAN and others in the virtual network you create can see it and play. Only problem is each virtual network is limited to 15 slots/players I think.

I think the ideas here are good, but I think it might be best to start a new topic for Id's training sessions. Many people have great suggestions and it would be good to have them in an easy to get place.
