T2, what did you end up getting?
Re: Headset Recommendations?
Whoa....sorry for not posting back earlier.
I settled because I was desperate. I ended up going with the Plantronics Gamecon 777 USB (http://www.gamingshogun.com/Article/336 ... eview.html). My old set (plantronics DSP-500) was going south (mic only). I ended up getting these for like $60 so price was good. The review above is pretty spot on. I have a small cranium so no issue with comfort at all. My only gripe so far is the cord length...which is much shorter than my last set. These sound WAY better than my old set also.
I wish I had a little more time to go and look/feel other make/models. I really wanted to check out some of the Sennheiser gaming models. I had a pair of stereo heaphones that I absolutely loved a few years back.
I appreciate all the input guys & gals!!
