RGC Event - STAKEOUT - 8/30/08 - Open to the Public

**RGC Event** STAKEOUT w/wings*
Date: August 30, 2008
Tim: 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM EST

We will be playing STAKEOUT. Kill the enemy with a STAKE. Pick them up with the stake and fly around if you like. You could stake them to the wall and watch the quiver as they die. Well you get the idea. Join us for a great time of fun and relaxation.
INSTRUCTIONS:
WEAPONS---
-----STAKELAUNCHER--------
primary fire ---- stakes
stakes can be picked out of the floor and walls
main feature of the stakes is there ability to pin the enemy to walls.
Secondary fire---- staketraps
plant on the ground for traps or release in mid air to capture an kill mid flight.
------PIKE---------
primary fire--- melee stab and carry
Secondary fire----Mamba projectile
holds 1 mamba but 3 can be picked up from the small shield pack pickup location
Bounces around the level untill it hits a player.
If it doesn't hit a player ,it explodes after a certain time.
If it hits a player, it stops and shoots out a beam to fry the player.
The Mamba can be caught in the pikes blades in mid flight, then released
with primary fire at any point(in a box room you can play pong..lol).
If the Mamba has a lock onto you, you can pick it up with the pike blades(if you have time) and throw it back.
In team games, you can save a teammate from a mamba lock-on by picking it up with the pike.
ITEMS---
-----stakeout Wings------
Hold down jump to flap the wings and gain height.
Hold forward in mid air to glide. The further you glide , the faster your
forward velocity. It is possible to glide from the top of the Faceclassic tower
to the opposite entrance.(the wings flap in multiplayer and bots use them really well)
----Iron Maiden---
placed on the weapon pickup bases
if you shoot the skull, the maiden is yours for a short time. If its yours and a player tries to get the weapon pickup,
the iron Maiden rises from the ground and closes on the player.
The use of STOCK weapons is NOT ALLOWED. You may use the stake and the stake gun and stake pick ups ONLY. If you use STOCK weapons you will be kicked from the event.
Sign up's are needed as the server will be passworded during the event. So please post in our forum @ http://www.runandgunclan.us if you would like to join us. This event is open to anyone that wishes to play!
