Ballistics VCTF Event at [RGC] - 8/2/08

Date: August 2, 2008
Time: 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST
Server IP: 38.105.80.44:7777
Come join us here at [RGC] for a new game type we have on the server. It's Vehicle CTF with a twist - Ballistics Weapons! If you've never tried these weapons before, come join us now for this event to check them out. I will try to have a good selection of maps, too! Those weapons along with a popular game type - VCTF - calls for a great time with lots of action, great friends, (new and old), laughter and just plain fun!
If you're interested in participating in this event, please sign up in our forum @ http://www.runandgunclan.us and you will be added to the roster. Please remember, in order to play, you must sign up because the server will be passworded and all those that sign up will get the password via a PM by me. 20 slots available!

Sounds cool, Crystal! What are the ballistics weapons? I can guess that they're heavily moded. Can you give us a link?

Oh yeah...heavily modded! Lots of fun, too!
Click HERE for the list of the weapons. You don't spawn with all the weapons. You must get them from weapon lockers. Also, HERE you should click to find out how to use the weapons once you get them. It's not as hard as it seems.
This is a "fun only" event anyway but at least you have some idea on what the weapons are and how to use them. Also, if anyone plans on coming that hasn't been on my server before, I suggest you come in well before the event to download all the mods/muts I have on the server as that will take awhile to do and you don't want it cutting into play time!

Please remember, if you plan on attending this event, you MUST sign up in my forum and post in the Event thread to be added to the list to get a password for tonight. No pressure, just a reminder.

Just a word of advice. If you've never been on my server before, it would be a good idea to come on it before the event tonight. My server is heavily modded and requires a lot of downloads which might take you awhile to get into it. The BW mutator alone is about a 3-4 min download (minimum) Just wanted to give all you a heads up.

I just played a little of this with Crystal and mudpuppet and a couple others. It's really fun! She's got aircontrol turned on, and the game is sped up a bit as well. It will be hard to go back to 'regular' UT after playing! I advise everyone to sign up and check it out. Worth it for sure and Crystal is an awesome hostess as usual!

It's a very busy forum.. just like this one! We've always got something going on!
