I just found out about this handy utility UT2004Mi from a friend. With this I can create actual map files from my UT cache. No more hunting them down on the web. If I've played it, I have it. If any body's interested, here's the link: http://files.filefront.com/UT2004Mizip/ ... einfo.html

Yeah, I downloaded that one. From what I understood it's purpose is keep your maps in the cache so they don't get deleted. Can it also convert cache maps to actual map files? I never could figure it out.

Yes, it converts cache files to actual map files. It's a great little tool. I've been using it for over a year now. If I go to someone's server and play a map I like, it stays in your cache and with this tool, you click on the map and convert it to an actual playable map. It's how I get a lot of the maps I like to play from other people's servers into my server.

It also decompresses .uz2 files into actual playable maps, too! ;)
