That's a cool video *wipes slobber from mouth* From what I see, what they mean by 'next generation' is the latest updates for UE3. At least the UDK version of it and obviously the licensed version. The editor that came with the UT3 game comes packaged with a lot of content (meshes, materials, etc;) ...

I had so much fun playing the maps I forgot about the patch. I got home late and played from about 1am - 4am. I agree with badasp... they saved the best maps for the map-pack.

I get hung up on the static mesh used on the jump-pad. I'd turn off its' collision. Fun map!

Nice! The layout works better as a DM map i think. I like the lift trigger usage up top as it's the only way down other than jumping (long drop). The trigger radius (collision) should be increased to the size of the lift. As is I can stand on the edges and not go anywhere. There's a 'Radius View' fu...

The Newer UDK

The latest Unreal Development Kit is so much more advanced than the editor that shipped with UT3, they should really call it UE3.5. Most notably to me is the material abilities... their look, feel, and interaction with different lightings.

I've only played WaW, MW2, and BO... so can only comment on those ones. Both IW and Treyarch have (no exaggerations here) literal geniuses working for them. Layouts : The map layouts with all the diffent offense/defense angles all just balance each other out. It's just mind boggling how the do that ...
